I’m Cory Hecht, an audio engineer based in Sydney. Since 2021 I’ve edited and mixed more than 240 podcast episodes across nine shows, first for Emerald City Productions in the US and now for my own clients, including Olive You Whole, Trial Lawyer Prep, the Cohere Podcast and Probably True Solar Stories.

Editing from US$100 per episode (about A$150). Full production and video are quoted separately.

Yes. Editing and mixing are done remotely, and most of my clients so far have been in the US. The time difference means your files can be worked on while you sleep.

Your raw audio, ideally with a separate track for each speaker, plus any intro, outro, music or ads, and notes on anything you want cut.

It depends on the length and how much editing is needed. We’ll agree on a turnaround that fits your release schedule.

Yes. I can recommend gear and walk you through recording yourself and remote guests so your audio starts out clean.
